Want to become a host family ?

Be aware that homestaybooking is an online booking service allowing contact between host families and potential guests looking for homestay.
All families listed on our site (as well as guests) are totally independent and free to fix their own conditions, prices, and rules for their accommodation.
We don't intervene in the discussions and negotiations between parties, any booking made being the result of an agreement freely discussed and approved by both of them.

Step 1

You create and publish your own hosting profile in our database, fill up the form with all necessary information and add 3 photos to increase your credibility.

Please note:
size of the room: please input only a number, nothing else as you have chosen before the system of measurement m² or sqft
price of the accommodation: please input only a number here too, nothing else as you have replied to the question before ("In which currency will the guest need to pay?").
If you are offered a multiple choice of answers in the drop down menu, use Ctrl and click on chosen elements.

Step 2

When you are done, you will receive an e-mail from us containing a link to confirm your registration as a hosting family with homestaybooking. Once confirmed, you can start finding potential visitors on our list and your host profile will be visible online.

Step 3

You will receive messages from visitors from all over the world asking for details about homestay. Please respect our Fair Play code as to never include private contact details in your message prior to any firm booking has been made.
You can provide any kind of information except direct contact data. This means specifically:

no phone numbers whatsoever
no last name, only first name is allowed
no email address
no websites URLs
no arrival/departure details combined with precise times, flight numbers etc.

Step 4

When your guest and you agree on conditions and price of the stay, you need to ask your guest to proceed to his booking online. He needs to make a deposit representing 10% of the total amount of his homestay.
When the booking has been made, you will receive his complete contact details in order to arrange the trip.
When the booking is made, it means your commission has been paid for.

Last, when he comes to your house, the guest will pay you the balance of 90%.
