homestaybooking.com brings international visitors and hosts together. Our objective is to encourage cultural exchange by providing the first worldwide homestay booking platform. Visitors of foreign countries can stay with a local host, and take the opportunity to learn about the local daily life of their travel destination. Furthermore, both sides can improve their foreign language skills. This makes a homestay the best choice for students living abroad and culturally inspired travellers. Homestays are also an excellent option during popular events such as concerts, trade fairs or championships when hotels are extremely expensive or fully booked.
homestaybooking.com is an internet booking site which gives the visitors the opportunity to book their homestay directly with the host. Visitors pay no booking fees and in most cases prices are much lower than bookings made via agents, language schools, etc. Hosts can publish their offer absolutely free for an unlimited period of time. homestaybooking.com was founded by Olaf Börner and Frank Budszuhn. Both enjoy traveling very much and are curious to learn more about foreign cultures. They have experienced staying with local host families and hosts many times. They see this as an opportunity for a multicultural understanding.
Olaf is responsible for marketing and general management. Frank holds a master degree of computer science and is responsible for the technical functionality of homestaybooking.com.
