Host families and homestay agencies will only incur costs if their offer gets confirmed by a guest. The commission model is explained in detail during the registration process for families and agencies.
In order to book a homestay accommodation you do not need to register. However, if you are a host family and wish to rent out your homestay accommodation on homestaybooking.com, you need to register. Your registration confirmation will also mention how you can access the administration area of our website. There you can update your information at your convenience. This also applies to registered guests who have created a guest profile for their homestay search.
What advantages come with a registration?
By registering, host families can make their homestay accommodation offer accessible to potential guests worldwide. Guests can advertise and raise the interest of potential homestay hosts for free. All profiles will be available in 9 different world leading languages. Registered users receive individual access data to their profiles in order to update their information if necessary.

The registration is a two step process. First you input the necessary information about your offer or your search profile and your contact data. After having finished the first step you will receive a confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address which you have given us. This e-mail contains a confirmation link on which you need to click in order to activate your profile and finalise the registration process. If you are not able to click on the link (this might happen to some e-mail clients), you need to copy the link into the address field of your web browser and push enter. Neither registered nor non-registered users receive access to your exact address and to your personal contact data, which you provide to us during the registration process.
